Prize Nominations!
by Treehouse Editors
It’s been a great first two issues for Treehouse, and as summer is slowly overpowered by that heinous buzzkill, fall, we took some time to select the pieces that will be representing us in the race to the Pushcarts. It was very hard choosing just six nominations with so much great work, but in the end, we settled on these gems, and as soon as I get my printer working, they’ll be headed over to Bill Henderson.
Fiction:
“Say Goodbye to Your Father” by Marie-Helene Bertino
“Reader Response Theory” by Andrew Brininstool
“Girl/Box” by Roxane Gay
Nonfiction:
“Clean Slates” by Vaiju Joshi
Poetry:
“Molting” by Yve Miller
“A History of Remembering” by Ariana Nadia Nash
We’re also incredibly excited to be nominating the following works for the Best of the Net Anthology, which is a really cool project from Sundress Publications!
“Support” by Ana Cristina Alvarez
“A Green Bug in Your Tea” by William Doreski
A big congrats and thank you to all our great writers.
